Hello,
Going to work everyday and seeing all these cute innocent kids playing together have been really inspiring me ❤

Been working on a little project using watercolor and I'm so enjoying it :)

I miss my blog! it's been SO LONG since my last post! :"|
My life went through several changes these past few months..
I graduated from college Alhamdulillah I got my bachelor's degree (yay)!
and I got married to the Awesomest guy on earth, he makes me happy <3 p="p">Also, I got a job at an international nursery school, nothing fancy and it's not my dream job yet.. but I like being around kids of this age, they inspire me :)

anyhow,, I decided to make it up to myself and proceed working on what I like the most

Currently, I really want to focus on the children's books illustration, I'm learning more about its industry, and working hard in order to master variety of styles.

Swans

I still feel too busy to blog ! Although 90% of my day is spent on my laptop working! lol

القصّة بعنوان ( سالم أصبح كبيراً ) قصّة تعليمية للأطفال بعمر سنتين

My Wacom Cintiq 12wx

Hi hi :D

Two weeks ago my gorgeous fiance Hassan got me the BEST GIFT EVA ! Wacom Cintiq 12wx, isn't it a great gift for a digital artist? <3<3
I've been dreaming to own a Cintiq tablet for a long time, and now I have it :")


Here's a quick test we did to try out the tablet..

Anyhow, the Tablet is AWESOME! it's so exciting, fun, big, but have too many wires to plug-in! which is something different from my Intuos4
About that! I'll still be using my old tablet! I don't think I can get rid of it that fast! I mean it's not even two years old yet! I'll probably be using it when traveling, It's much lighter and easier to carry in my macbook bag.

DU workshop, Coal drawings

Dammam University established an art workshop given by the Saudi artist Badriya Alnasir.
and the beginning of the semester I joined the workshop and it actually was so much fun being among other artists and an amazing painter.

Mrs.Badriya started by giving us some coal drawings basics..
fortunately, I'm good at it :)

First children book illustrated by me

السلام عليكم و رحة الله و بركاتة

بحمد الله و نعمته تمت طباعة و إنتاج أول عمل مشترك بيني و بين الرائعة شيخة الزيارة، صاحبة مدونه " هنا أكون "
العمل عبارة عن قصّه أطفال بعنوان " روزة واثقة من نفسها" من تأليف و إنتاج شيخة الزيارة و رسومي :)
القصة تحمل الطابع القطري التراثّي بشكل جميل، تحكي عن فتاة قطرية بعمر ٩ سنوات تعيش مع جدتها.

تم إنتاج الطبعة الأولى في دولة قطر و هي طبعة خاصة
و بأذن الله ستوزع الطبعة الثانية في دول الخليج.

نسخه موقعة ليّ من شيخة :)

Digital Portraits 05+06+07

السلام عليكم :)
مشغولة، مزحومة، الكثير من الاحداث تدور بحيّاتي تشغلني عن التفرّغ لنفسي و رسمّ ما يحلو لي..
أرغب بشدّة بفتح كراستي أو الفوتوشوب و اقوم برسم كوميك سريع يصّف فيها حالتي مع صديقاتي كما أعتدت أن افعل...
ما اقول إلا اللهم بارك لي في وقتي و ابعد عنّي الكسل :(

حاليّا اعمل على ثاني قصّة اطفال اقوم برسمها والتي شارفت على الإنتهاء منها بحمد الله. سعيدة جدا بأنجازي و اعمالي و كم احلم بالمزيد من النجاح و التقدم لي في هذا المجال.
سأتكلم عن هذه القصص في وقت لاحق إن شالله، لكن اليوم أحببت ان اعرض المزيد من البورتيريهات قمت برسمها منذ مدة

how you been doing?
Got some pictures of the classes I've been giving at my house throughout these two years.

My students and I had a LOT of fun together learning & playing with colors, and I enjoyed teaching them the basics of art and painting :")
